You talk, I listen. Tell me what's stressing you out, what grades your child is getting and what you want to achieve. 
On finishing the call you will know: Why your child is struggling and some resources they can start to use straight away to start improving.

The paid trial lesson, if you want

If you want to test my teaching you can book either a 60 minute session or a 40 minute session. You and your child can see what a lesson with me is like. I will explain any topic/concept they are struggling with and help with some revision and exam tips. I will also show you the online weekly work schedule that I customise for each student and how this will help them achieve their target grade.

A little bit about me:



I am a professional, friendly online gcse maths tutor. I love teaching and showing my students how simple (and fun??!) maths is. 

I am also a mum, juggling work, family life and generally running on caffiene  - so I  completely understand how mad life can be and how much difference the right support can make.

I have been teaching for around 15 years. I specialised in robotics first and have been teaching GCSE maths for 6 years. I am good at taking complex topics and making them simple and easy to learn and practice.

I use small steps whilst explaining and mini tasks that will help your child get a better grade.

I provide 1 to 1 tuition, completely personalised to your child's needs. This is the most effective way to improve grades.

I do not provide group tuition at present.

My students usually achieve grades 6 to 8, depending when they start.

My rate is £37 for a 60 minute lesson. £25 for 40 mins.

You can book weekly or fortnightly.

I teach online and my lessons are effective because I teach concepts slowly and concisely.

The lessons are followed up with small tasks, to do a few times per week.

These tasks and the lessons will improve your child's maths grade.

At the moment I do online only due to my little ones :) though this might change in the future.

Maths requires a lot of practice in order to do better in the exams. However telling teenagers - or anyone - to do x amount of work by the end of the week or month is not the most effective or enjoyable way to get it done. So I have developed a system, where after each lesson, and as I get to know each student, we get super specific about what exactly they need to do to master each mini topic or exam question.

This becomes a daily task, around 15 minutes (may be longer for year 11s) that is easy to do but also super effective.

Its like a super awesome work out or diet plan that actually works.

Every 2 - 4 weeks there is a visible and measurable improvement in your child's maths ability.

I currently live in the awesome city of Leicester, in Wigston to be precise. Doing online gcse maths tuition means I can work with you wherever you are and still enjoy some of the best food places practically on my doorstep - yes I am a big foodie, so if you want to debate that last statement, kindly let me know your recommendations!

Yes is the short answer. I can do science, business and english if you are struggling to find a specialist for those.
